A convention, if it means something to you
Hallmark’s US anniversary guide associates the 5th anniversary with wood traditionally and silverware in its modern list. This is one publisher’s gift convention, not a rule for every country or relationship. A Starmap print does not acquire those materials by marking that year.

A wood theme does not identify a frame
An oak-colour surround describes appearance. It does not establish solid oak, another solid wood, a veneer, a printed finish or the construction underneath. A named finish in the designer and a digital room picture cannot settle that question. Read the exact product’s confirmed specification for the selected size and country. This collection’s physical construction samples are not yet qualified; the diagram below explains questions to ask, not what a Starmap frame is made from.

Find one memory inside five years
List a beginning
Write a wedding, first home or first meeting, without deciding immediately that the earliest date must win.
List a choice
Think about a decision you made together: a move, a return, a shared project, or room made for the other person.
List an ordinary scene
Remember something smaller that still feels like your relationship. Ask which of the three your partner would most like to see every day.
Choose one actual sky
Use the place and local moment of the selected memory. Five memories can belong in a letter; they cannot become one truthful composite sky.
Wedding date or a later milestone?
The wedding anchors the anniversary
It gives the gift an immediately understandable date. Check the place and time rather than copying an old invitation’s schedule as if it proved the exact instant.
A later milestone adds another chapter
It may suit a couple who already has wedding photographs on the wall. A short dedication can explain why this later day represents the five years.
Plan for both the paper and the surround
The supported paper layouts are 30 × 40, 40 × 50 and 50 × 70 cm. A frame adds to their outer dimensions. Measure the intended wall and check the actual ordered frame’s total size and hanging instructions. Do not estimate a wall fixing from a rendered mockup. An unframed print can be a complete gift, especially if the recipient prefers to select a frame themselves.

Give the words their own meaning
Try a line drawn from your memory exercise, such as “The place we kept choosing.” It need not mention five, wood or strength. A separate handwritten note can explain the connection. If another wooden object or experience would suit your partner better, the tradition gives you ideas rather than a reason to force a framed print into the day.
